In 2018 I was tasked with rendering a model clock as part of my Product Design course. The clock's design didn’t attribute to any marks, and so I doodled a generic digital clock. My lecture told me he was expecting something a little more inspired. Why would I design something so vanilla when given a project without semantic constraints? I restarted. What I produced got a high destination with detailed feedback praising my creativity and technical skills.
